Creative news
Happenings offline
Friends, this week I will just be sending you two pieces of news from my life.
On Friday, I graduated from Oxford with a Master of Studies in Creative Writing. I am proud of having worked one full-time and one part-time job, in another country, to make it happen. I have my late father to thank for teaching me how to work really hard to make seemingly impossible things possible. I also couldn’t have managed without my incredibly supportive husband.
I applied to this master’s in the mindset of doing as much as I possibly could for my writing. I’m three and a half chapters away from a full novel draft and really hope I will be able to put something meaningful out into the world.
In other news, our recital of art song and opera, Nuit d’étoiles, is happening on Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 31st at 20h in Paris. You can reserve free tickets here and see the program on the studio’s website here.
We are really excited to interpret this beautiful music together in an intimate and welcoming space.
Until next time, wishing you all a creative and peaceful week.
à la prochaine,
Rachel
